On My PTM Day

On My PTM Day On August 29th, my parents went to school for my Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), which was scheduled from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. They met my class teacher, Anmol Sir, who shared my progress in the June, July, and August examinations. He gave positive feedback, which made my parents feel both happy and proud of my performance. After the meeting, they returned home with smiles on their faces. The following Monday, my teacher handed me a hard copy of my report along with comments on areas where I should improve. I was asked to take it home, and with that, my first-term PTM officially came to an end.

Eka’s Carnival At Eka, we had a carnival on Saturday, 13th September. We all reached at 9:30 a.m., and parents started coming at 10:30 a.m. There were different stalls like food stalls, paintings, cookies, calendars, wall hangings, theatre, a magic show, and even hampers. There were also laptop stickers, food items like Maggi, fridge magnets, dose, lemon juice, popcorn, muffins, cupcakes, and more. Parents visited each stall to see and buy the things we made. Students and teachers put a lot of effort into preparing everything for the carnival, working every day from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. for the last four months. It was very enjoyable to prepare everything, including the photo booth and building desks. The program wrapped up at 2:00 p.m., and we went home. Teachers arranged everything and left at 3:00 p.m. Before leaving, all the parents and students took photos with Shanthi Ma’am, our founder. After buying all the things for the carnival, my mother and I went back home. I bought ham...

First, the NIOS students told the story of Onam and how it began. Our Vocational Center also created the pookalam. Next, students from the Vocational Building performed a traditional dance. After that, we went to eat snacks. After having snacks, we played Onam games, then danced for a while before going to have lunch. After lunch, we began a surprise Teacher’s Day celebration for our teachers. Kavya and Hitashi started hosting the Teachers’ Day program, and Lalith from NIOS Prep gave the welcome speech. The first event was a dance performance by a NIOS student. Then Martin asked some questions to the teachers. The program continued with a ramp walk, where some younger students held cards during the breaks. Next, we enjoyed dance performances by Pavitra and Chiari. Then Juju, Pujita, and Mahesh sang a song. After that, we had a fun game ...
