Eka's carnival

 Eka’s Carnival

At Eka, we had a carnival on Saturday, 13th September. We all reached at 9:30 a.m., and parents started coming at 10:30 a.m. There were different stalls like food stalls, paintings, cookies, calendars, wall hangings, theatre, a magic show, and even hampers. There were also laptop stickers, food items like Maggi, fridge magnets, dose, lemon juice, popcorn, muffins, cupcakes, and more. Parents visited each stall to see and buy the things we made.

Students and teachers put a lot of effort into preparing everything for the carnival, working every day from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. for the last four months. It was very enjoyable to prepare everything, including the photo booth and building desks. The program wrapped up at 2:00 p.m., and we went home. Teachers arranged everything and left at 3:00 p.m. Before leaving, all the parents and students took photos with Shanthi Ma’am, our founder. After buying all the things for the carnival, my mother and I went back home.

I bought hampers and stickers for myself from the carnival. I liked the carnival so much—it was very fun to work for it. The stickers were made by me, Aniket, and Rahul, and we sold one set of six stickers. Only two stickers were left at the end. I felt very happy to sell them, and it was a great experience.

We also had stalls for trays, jewelry, perfume, and games like ring toss. There were even keychains. I met my ex-classmate Allen and my friends Dilip Kumar and Bhuvan Reddy there. We sold stickers for ₹10 each and calendars for ₹320 in total. I also bought popcorn for myself, which cost ₹50.
